What is Herbology?
Herbology is the study of magical and mundane plants and fungi. In this book you will learn how to properly care for and utilise different plants, as well as learn about their magical properties and what they are used for. Many plants provide ingredients for potions and medicine, while others have magical effects of their own right. you will also be taught a few spells that are helpful for gardening, such as the Herbivicus Charm.
Chapter 1
Herbivicus Charm
The Herbivicus Charm, also known as the Herbivicus Spell or Gardening Charm, (Herbivicus) is a charm used to rapidly increase the growth rate of plants and cause flowers to bloom. Herbivicus Duo is a stronger version of this charm.
Upon casting, a twisting jet of brilliant green light will shoot from your wand. A crackling ball of emerald-green energy will appear at the tip of your wand, with an identical one appearing at the plant, one was charming, with a thick jet of green light connected to them. The plant would rapidly begin blooming.
If a plant's situation is delicate, then the use of the Herbivicus Charm isn't recommended, as in certain cases it could do more harm than good.
